The movie Gladiator(2000), directed by Ridley Scott depicted the life of Maximus Decimus Meridius from a general of 5000 soldiers to a slave and became gladiator who stand to fight and slayed the tyrant-Commodus. In this movie, the scene that I like the most is the time when Maximus return to his wife and son in the after world after he completed his final task and vengeance- slayed the tyrant Commodus. Maximus is the toughest guy ever!

I like this scene because the dream for Maximus is to go home after war and live a simple life with his wife and son. His son and wife is everything for him. It's crucial moment when his wife and son were burnt and nailed to the cross. Maximus had been lived in a miserable life and he managed to free himself at last. Although this scene is not happened in reality but I feel relieved when I saw Maximus gather with his family after years of struggling. It's kinda relax and a good ending for him perhaps. Finally, it's the end of sorrow.
