Borobudur dani salleh 1204573
What is Borobudur?
Borobudur is a 9th- century Mahayana Buddist monument in magelang, indonasia.
What is happening in Borobudur?
Borodubur temple is now announce as greater then pyramid because its architecture is more complicated , Czech president said.
Borobudur temple is recognized as the worlds largest Buddhist monument by the Guinness world records.
The price to enter Borobudur temple has increase by 25 to 33 percent from 1st of july 2012.
What will I see from highest and lowest of Borobudur structure?
I'm sure because i haven been there to see the Borodubur structure in Indonasia. but base on research that I have done, but from the higest point of borodubur temple you can see the central of the stupa. the stupa signify buddha's enlightenment and that is the symbol of eternity.
and the lowest structure of Borobudur is decorated with 160 reliefs shown ungly scenes of human desire and their karmic consequences.
The Indonesia's celebrate waisak. Every year, on the full moon that is usually on may or jun, the budist in Indonesia celebrates waisak in borobudur temple. Waisak day is a reminder on birthday, death and the day that siddharta gautama became the brilliant Buddha shakyamuni. There are three events that is called trisuci waisak . The event of waisak starts with walking from candi mendut to candi pawon and ends at candi borobudur.
At the end of waisak night, in the full moon the Buddhists gather around the borobudur. At that particular moment borobudur is believe that had magical and supernatural power. From the believes of the budist people on waisak day, a buddha will appear on the south peak of burabudur mountain.

What is (stupa) sculpture? Why?
A stupa literally mean heap. its like a mound(half a round)(dome)-like structure containing buddhist relics as a place of worship..
My opinion of the hero's journey in the borobudur is the steps that lead to the top of the temple. On the way up the punden berundak steps and the corridors has a story. A story of how the temple was made, the regions that was involve and the history of all that was involve in this borodubur temple. the story of the departure, initiation and return starts from the stairs. for me to write about it just based on reseach wouldn't be accurate because most the the story about the Borobudur on the internet are different as they are writen by different authors. if i were to write about the temple of the borobudur i need to be there my self and see the story my self. there's not alot of pictures on the net . just the whole temple.

Visit to Islamic Art Museum (Chew Jue Ann 1003571)
The first thing I saw in this Art Museum is the China Mosque, which also the first model I attracted to. I attracted to this China Mosque is because it is located in China and the architecture of this building have been successfully build a unique and also beautify the overall image of a mosque itself.
(The Mosque at DaXueXi Lane)-China
The mosque was built in the Tang dynasty in the Ming dynasty, it underwent some repair too. This mosque in XI' AN illustrates the Chinese tradition of mosque building in both its design and artistic outlook.Chinese elements present are the pagoda, freestanding gateways, and the moon pavilion minaret. It is the oldest surviving example of a Chinese monumental mosque.

This is the side view of the China mosque. In this side view, I can seen the sides of the angle of this mosque, have the Chinese carving of art of like every houses or palace did. Therefore it will be also identified it is from China and I believed the architecture also is a Chinese people because of the details and the structure of the building.
For this, it is the carving of the ceilings and walls, which it create lots of carving that in differ fine lines. By create differ fine line in the piece of carving art work, it produce a 3D perspectives and visual impact will give audience to have a kind of culture shock because of the overall piece. The most interesting part in this corner of it , is the ceiling. On the ceiling of this room filled with carvings, that quite amazed by the carver who did it because by create this kind of piece of art, really need lots of patience, skills and knowledge. Besides the fine details is the most impress part ,where I did look at it for a couple of minutes.

Lastly, while I am walking all the way to the entrance of museum I saw this huge of carving art piece. Once again, I admired the fine carvings again. The overall of this piece, give a warm and mystery looks because firstly the carving. The carving part is once again details and 3 dimensional geometric and organic lines and it create a warm feeling too. Secondly the huge of this art piece, have create a feeling of mystery. The size of it, have been enlarge and been create a image of a room like. Where it seems like a room filled with mystery feelings.
As for this, also a sketches which is the whole image of the floor. Why I sketch this, because the structure itself of the museum also an art where the architecture try to build accordingly to the actual mosque of Islamic, even though it is not look same but the every arch itself have been represent the Islamic art.
I learn the differ structure, fine details, art, images in this museum. I am glad to have this chance to explore deeper of Islamic art which I think it will be bored at first but somehow it changed my mind throughout the exploring in this Istamic Arts Museum Malaysia.
Visit to Islamic Art Museum (ONG JING YI 1102884)
Every piece of the art objects on display is unique in itself. From the over thousand artifacts, I found the miniature versions of Qur'ans are interesting. This type of Qur'ans is in tiny size, so the magnifying glass is usually needed. It is often used by the Muslim soldiers on campaign. Sometimes this miniature Qur'ans is housed in attractive cases.
other than that, I found that the design of the domes ceilings are the most beautiful view inside the museum. The turquoise colour domes make the crown of this majestic building. Within this building, the sharp designs of the 21st century are contrasted with the soft interiors of the museum. Every room has an intricate domed ceiling.

The Vitruvian Man
Sketches of Vitruvian Man
If a circle has radius = 1 unit, square side is equal to:
1.656 for Vitruvian Man
1.618 for Golden section construction
1.571 for the condition: circumference of the circle = perimeter of the square
1.772 for the condition: area of the circle = area of the square
Squaring the circle is a problem proposed by ancient geometers. It is the challenge of constructing a square with the same area as a given circle by using only a finite number of steps with compass and straightedge.
A circle with Radius = 1 and a square with side = 1.772.
The Area of the circle is 3.14 [ as determined by pi multiplied by the radius squared ].
The area of the square is also 3.14... [1.772 x 1.772 ]
The simplest composition is based on a square, which is duplicated and rotated 45ยบ to form an octagram. The distance between the base line of the first square and the apex of the rotated one simply represents the diameter of the circle.

My opinion, I think that The Vitruvian Man drawing it was really a perfect composition and proportion of a man human figure.why it will using a human figure to make this drawing? From my knowledge about it, it is because the human figure is the perfect balance as symmetrical balance. That was show that the human figure is totally same as left and right side. What you can look at the left side you will also can see it at the right side by same position. The calculation of the human figure are equal, from the left side and the right side by using a square and a circle to balance it.

The Vitruvian man is a drawing first created by Leonardo Da Vinci. It's main purpose is to measure the human body proportion of man by using a circle and square. Besides then Leonardo, there is also others version of vitruvian Man created by architect or scholar like fra giovanni giocondo, cesare cesariano, frscesco giorgi, tacolla and soon. Among these vitruvian man drawing, Leonardo's drawing and description is the best as it is clearly describe the man proportion in two difference stretching movements. In his drawing, the arms of vitruvian man which is in horizontal static torm touched the square and its only touched the circle when its raised up around 20 degrees. The legs was the most interesting parts because no matter how it lifts up or down, its always touched the circle. No doubt, this vitruvian man is the ideal of human body proportion as the human proportion in this earth might not all the same.
